Blue Mesa Reservoir is located in Gunnison County, Colorado. About 200 miles from Denver and 50 miles from Montrose; it is the largest body of water in Colorado but it is also one of the most remote. This can make for some great secluded sail-camping but there is limited cell service and weather can change right in front of you, so make sure you are well prepared!
